As a Korean, I don’t care if Japan get an fully functioning aircraft carrier. If anything, it will make an great excuse for SK to have one as well.

Talking about JMSDF acquiring a full fledged aircraft carrier, I came across this vid;
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JNibOGgpyUs
It’s a promotion vid about a mook published by Takarajima titled “CG動画で実現! 自衛隊・新世代兵器PERFECT BOOK(別冊宝島2019号)( Shown through CG JSDF new weapons Perfect Book” in which it illustrates a would be full fledged carrier “Hosho” with Shinshin fighters battling against the PLAN carrier Liaoning.
The funny part is that I was introduced to this vid through a twit by a Chinese commenting that a Japanese right nutter had created a CG to fantasize his wet dreams. LoL

There is a rumor that the Defense Ministry had accidentally posted the name of the 22DDH which was retracted soonly after. She is supposedly to be christened JS Izumo which fallows the present trend naming them after old Japanese states. (Hyuga, Ise)
We will find out if this rumor is true on August 6th when they have the Christening and launch ceremony.
